If al-shabaab decides to start warfare in Somaliland, pretty much everyone is finished. The mountainous terrain is and worse is the cave systems in Sanaag. The problem is not the recent influx of these kinds of people but Somaliland has always been home to extremists but they were powerless because waa la is wada garaneya. The extremist is ina hebel hebel etc. and if he does some shit his own family will get him but at the same time aslong as he doesnt do shit, Sland cant arrest him even if they're suspicious because like I said waa ina hebel and his family would start some shit. The number of Isaaq youth that joined the so called ''holy'' war in Mogadishu during the Ethiopian invasion is ridiculous. Some of them returned home injured/not injured and some joined al-shabaab. Magaalada Burco is one of their f-king strongholds in waqooyi along side the warsangeli settlements in waqooyi.

gedo is far more valuable than the primtive shithole you fled from. gedo, while right now it may be undeveloped and backward, at least has a lot of potential, is rich in resources, is habitable with lots of vegetation and water ways with livable and even desirable climate unlike the unlivable and unbearable desert shithole you fled from.
