Is it really that odd for a twenty-two year old to live at home? Thirty-two, I concede, but twenty-two's straight out of college. Like, I'd give a guy a year or two before I lump him with basement dwelling weirdos.

Many people don't follow the same life trajectory they did in the past. There are boomerang adult children, that move away for school only to come back home.
Also, culturally-speaking that is more of a western phenomenon, most generally live with their parents until they are married.

True, but I still think that twenty-two's a bit too young to be labeled as a "boomerang adult-child", especially if the person is a recent graduate. It typically takes a bit of time for even a proactive individual to find their independent footing. Also, second-generation Somalis are at a weird limbo because, as you implied, living at home isn't odd within the scope of 'tradition'; however, you're seen as a loser in the West.

Conformity; reminds me of a vibrant shade of jumpsuit orange. As a member of the second-generation in N.America I'm not too swayed by western conventions of normality.
A 22-year old is an boomerang adult child, provided they leave home only to return. I understand the difficulty transitioning into the career world for someone that age, and the underlying financial pressures. However, I call I spade-a-spade. Nothing particularly strange about that. People understand if you go away to school, or move away for a job prospect in a different city. There are no qualms about it. What is taboo is being unmarried, living in the same city as your parents and living outside of the home.

Not going to lie, that's the only thing I need from a guy. That's my only unmet need.eliteSomali wrote:Women do really think men were made for them. You should be able to provide everything for yourself and the only thing you should want from a man is the geed.

Insults will not be tolerated. Consider this warning. I can post wherever I want. And I don't have to resort to cursing and insulting other members.SavySallySupersedes wrote:

Why don't you just permanently ban me, then? If I'm such a nuisance, why have you waited this long to issue 2 warnings? I'm sure most of Snet would like to see me go anyways.FAH1223 wrote:
