Mr. Luis, here's another suggestion
"Gorilla Warfare" is a new book by Mr. Danyeer D. Cas S.P., author of the best-sellers "An ooyee albabka ii xidha" and "Somaali baan Ahay"
"Gorilla Warfare" is a memoir of reverend D. D. Cas' life, centering on his service in the 1977 Ethio-Somali War. In "Gorrila Warfare", the author recalls his rise from a simple Mandrill sergeant to brushing [dandruff from the] shoulders of the likes of president Saalax Simian and General Coofadh. As a captain in the 7th Beringei Brigate, D. D. Cas presents an eyewitness account of several significant battles such as the Hamadrya campaign of September 1977 and the decisive "Operation bariis, hilib ari iyo moos". Evoking the excitement and chest clapping action of a bygone era, Mr. Dabo Cas engages the reader with vintage photographs and banana skin clippings, complemented by his amusing and informative narrative. A revealing and at times humorous account, "Gorrila Warfare" is an original war story that is sure to fascinate anyone interested in history
About the Author
Born on the somali coast near Berbera around1945, Mr. Cas was a mischievous youngster, often throwing rocks at passing caravans. Due to a sudden growth spurt, coupled with a propensity for violence, Mr. Cas quickly advanced in the male dominance hierarchy of his clan. In an effort to reach Alpha Male Status, he enlisted in the Army at the age of 19. He would eventually earn a number of badges for acts of bravery, including the silverback medal. Following his discharge from the army, Mr. Cas returned to his native berbera where he currently resides. In addition to being a prolific writer, Mr. Danyeer Dabo Cas is an ordained minister and the leader of a small congregation, the Societas Pan Troglodytes of the Holy Lice.

The local conflict on the Horn permitted the application of Soviet power and
militated against a commensurate Western response; thus the Russian intervention
reversed the outcome of the conflict in favor of Ethiopia militarily at the
present time
By early 1978, the Russians had concentrated large
amounts of arms, equipment, and military personnel in Ethiopia. Cuban troops
from different places, but mainly from Angola, South Yemeni troops, Libyans,
and East Germans were in preparation for conducting the final and fatal blow
to Somalia
In 1977, Somalia was involved in an all out war with Ethiopia over the
Ogaden region, and the Somali conquest of the Ogaden would undoubtedly have
been successful except for foreign, particularly Russian, intervention
