Allaaahu Yarxam she was a true patriot...Two things I remember about her:
1. Few years ago when Sangub was still in the States, I attended a July 1st party held in San Diego when someone in the audience asked him if he knew the greatest Somali living. His answer was swift and quick ;"Saado Cali Warsame" he said. He went on to talk how she came to him in 1985 wanting to him to compose a song against the government. He said he was so scared that he fled the house but she later found him in another house and warned him that if he doesn't compose a song to address the terrible condition of the country, she would do it herself. There are people who argue that Saado was given the lyrics of those infamous songs such as Land Cruiser and War Ninkoow. What most people don't know is that she went after the composers to have the songs created for her. She was fearless, patriot and one of kind indeed!!! Here is the War Ninkoow song; and remember her clan was suppossedly one of the MOD members.

2. Another amazing memory about her that I will always cherish, that is if i remain Somali, is when I attended my cousin's wedding almost ten years ago. In the wedding she sang some patriotic songs and she was sporting Nike-made wristbands and headband with the Somali flag. She must have paid big bucks to have those bands customized for her with the Nike logo on them. She was the last person to sport that stupid blue flag in a private wedding. Rest in Peace!!

I think it is about time we forget about this Somalinimo and break up the country into pieces....After 24 years to be in this predicament, it is just shame. Someone mentioned that she was there for the UN-funded MP salary. Well, someone with her caliber and fame, she could have collected the few thousand dollars while enjoying her life in MN. Less famous and sometimes unknown so called MPs do that often wether they are in Norirobi, Europe or Noth America.

These Al-Shabaab thugs need to be beaten. I keep hearing that the government is going to do major offensive against them at the end of 2014. I hope this becomes fruitful. These thugs are a obstacle to Somalia. They have killed 3 MP's since the start of Ramadan.

Why would a qabil kill a woman? Dude, I don't see Dhulbahante throwing accusations what the fuck is wrong with you dhabacyo people? 3 different MP's from different clans including Hawiye got killed since Ramadan began.

Everybody knows this is the work of Al-Shabaab.

When the Turkish embassy was attacked Tarsan was the mayor, when the UN compound was attacked Tarsan was the mayor, when the National Court House was attacked Tarsan was the mayor.

Therefore to blame the two presidential compound attack and the two parliament attack on Muungaab is just not feasible. The lack of security is because of the security chiefs of different sectors. But also don't forget Al-Shabaab have also vowed for extensive attacks during the month of Ramadan.

I personally admire Muungaab, and when he was the military judge he was very efficient and hard-working. Therefore I don't doubt that he will work his best.

The only people I would blame are the interior minister, defence minister and security chiefs such as police chief and military chief. So far the interior minister has been changed and the police chief too, and other security chiefs. Let's wait and see if these new ones will make things better. I have high hopes for the new police chief, he is highly experienced in this field but also he is very ruthless.
