Xildiid,
You clearly didn't read the last two articles. See if you can get this one gets past your orbits.

Take a look at the geographics of the situation. Where exactly will this magical Palestinian state come from?Grant wrote:Xildiid,

It's useless rhetoric. Biden and American politicians are in bed with Jewish lobby groups.
American will always stand by Israel, no matter what the Israelis do.

A Palestinian and an Israeli state in accordance with the pre 1967 borders. However Israel has been annexing land under the pretext that it can't guarantee security for its citizens unless it controls every inch, including land intended for a Palestinian state.SolidCamel wrote:Take a look at the geographics of the situation. Let's see if you guys can read this:
http://www.jewishvirtuallibrary.org/jso ... aries.html
The boundaries were set in 1948 by the UN and in 1967 by the war. The occupation and settlements have not changed this. A peace settlement will require a full Israeli withdrawal from the West Bank. See the third map in this article.
As the first two articles I posted indicate, the UN created both Israel and the Palestinian state(s), and is going to be involved in this. Provided only that the threat of veto in the Security Council is removed, the UN should now be free to settle this.

My point is that Israel has annexed so much land from those pre 1967 borders that it will never go back (or give up land). A 2 state solution just ins't gonna happen. Its over, been over for a long time. They've been pushed to the sea to Gaza and then all the way to the West Bank, which is dwindling every day with settlements.Xildiiid wrote:A Palestinian and an Israeli state in accordance with the pre 1967 borders. Yh, it won't happen but our former CIA and current resident of SomaliNet mr. Grant can't see that because he's blinded by the deceiving rhetoric of his politicians.

The Palestinians should make the necessary steps and arrangements in joining Israel as autonomous provinces.

Israel fears a one state solution the most because it endangers the fundamental definition of a Jewish State. They even want to get rid of the Arab Israelis.AbdiJohnson wrote:The Palestinians should make the necessary steps and arrangements in joining Israel as autonomous provinces.

Grant, you're dreaming. Even if the UN settles this, the facts on the ground will not change.Grant wrote:Let's see if you guys can read this:

Palestinians will still be in bantustans, they won't have freedom of movement, the settlers arent going away either.

Of course they don't want to share a country with the Arabs but mutual concessions must be made.Perfect_Order wrote:Israel fears a one state solution the most because it endangers the fundamental definition of a Jewish State. The Jews still want to control the Palestinians and the Palestinians want greater sovereignty. The middle ground is the answer instead of entertaining one side's extreme position....

Lol at middle ground. You come kick me out of your house and the middle ground for you is to let me keep the shed in the backyard.

The fact that Israel gives even an iota of thought to even having peace talks with the Palestinians shows they have fundamental standards of humanity. The Israelis could easily crush them like a bug but they aren't ones to mislay their moral compass like other groups such as IS who massacre children by the dozens with machine guns because they have Shia mothers. The Palestinians are lucky to be enemies with the Jews instead of having to deal with a Zionist version of IS.
