Some of those have to do with being married in general and not necessarily long term relationships
What I don't get is how men benefit less from long term relationships, in comparison to women?
Love, children, stability, status, support and protection. It all goes both ways, especially in our context living in the West as we do. Unless one spouse is wealthy and the other benefits more if they end up getting divorced after a long marriage, then one spouse benefits in financial terms
