The country is predominately Somali. They make more than 70% of the demographics.
It amazes me that Somalis would cheer on a non Somali group.

I would advise you to do your own research bc thats why allah give you a reason
that map was created in 1894 when the permanent french colonial adminstration was moved to djibouti city and was given that name-french somaliland-
france has colonized first the afar part of djiboiti, officially in 1862 and was called the french obock and its dependents, then they expanded towards tadjoura where they signed a treaty with its afar sultan
https://fr.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Territoire_d%27Obock
Djiboiti has 6 divisions; djiboiti city and 5 regions
Djiboiti city a national capital, has afar minority in the north. The majority are somalis not just the issa but there r too much gadabursi and isaaq
Obock: afar
Tadjura: afar
Dikhil: 60 percent afar
Ali sabih issa/somali
Arta issa/somali
Population somali are 60 percent but geographically speaking the afar region comprises most of djibouti
QaxootiWaaxid wrote:^ Nope, it was called by the French as TFAI, Territoire français des Afars et des Issas (French Territory of the Afars and the Issas) and the rest of the Francophone world.
