All my brothers and sisters all look like typical cushitic Highlanders but I ended up looking like a dirty Arab. When I went to the UAE a few years ago with my uncle when I was 18, Emiratis kept talking to me in Arabic and they were shocked when I told them I came from the horn.
I think Im adopted or there must have been a baby swap in the hospital where I was born
Im thinking of getting a DNA test.
If I find out I aint Cushitic but a dirty Arab, I think I might kill myself :vil:
:snoop: So you think you're a farakh
Calm down, Im just having a lil troll session :stylin:
:stylin: Im not confused at all.
im making fun of horners who claim theyre Arab when theyre clearly not as the other member said. We all have to be proud of who we are as a people and not look up to other races like the Arabs who only think for themselves

Yes I like to know more about the region and the neighbors. Would love to travel from Haud to Massawa by land. I'm tired of reading Western 'explorers' and 'anthropologist' take on things so would be nice to get first hand experience and write my own little book.

Also my philosophy is by knowing others you divide your own less.

Those that divide small Somali tribes only know the village and the few sub-clan members. So in their world that's all that exists.

One thing I never figured out is why does Eritrea have almost zero Somali presence? I mean all over Africa, Somalis are involved in some kind of business or journey.

Eritrea is almost 99.99% Somali-free despite Djibouti being a neighbour.

Can you explain that to me and I don't think business-wise Eritrea is more socialist or nepotist than Ethiopia today under the minority.

Eris are my favorite peeps outside the Somali Peninsula.

Thanks bro

Audhubillah! This is how the dirty habesha has brainwashed its slaves....once I was reading why the sunni Syrian army still follows assed and was saying bc they r not more than scums.....60 years of minority rule have killed every thing in them from faith and morals to honour! The same goes for this harari who insults his own mother!

Harar was settled by coastal semites (hadarama), al bakri tribe aka sheekhal, egyptian arabs so it's normal to see people who look like them

Yes there were ashraf in Harar like aw barkhadle but every digsi looka like is claiming them

This Oromo girl looks like a Somali girl from my area lol you can guess her region!

Funny is that oromo vocabulary is the Somali sugaan!

Example we say xoriyad and they say bilisimo....this is where the Somali word bilad comes from: bilad iyo sharaf....they say galed(mahad) ilaah bay galed I sugnaatey.....but we had more somalised. Arabic

There are Somalis, especially around Massawa (UN camp), plus you got some in Asmara and even in places such as Tessenei you have a Somali community. During the early 90's there were thousands of Somalis but almost all left for Ethiopia or elsewhere.
