What's this quarrel and faan talk about? Its no secret that Turkey and those Arab state particularly abu dhubai being at loggerheads in regards to Somalia with turkey coming out on top in the South, of course flydubai is going to try to make money from Hargaisa as turkey airline is doing in Xamar, it basically has a monopoly on it now, I can't understand why there is a d*** measuring contest over this, Somali owned airlines are slowly going out of business because of this.
Walahi sometimes ashamed being part of these nutcases, you'll keep plucking at each others throat until you all end up with nothing and foreign countries take everything from under your noses.

Yes, somali airlines are slowly going out of business.

After flydubai started operarions In june by beginning of october it was announced that
At the end of february due to pressure from competing airlines, turkey airlines dominating flights to somalia, and ethiopian airlines dominating flights to somaliland, including fly dubai to start june 9th of same year direct flights to hargeysa, the only two somali airline carriers decide to temporarily merge just to survive the competition. The UAE are near to accepting the Somaliland passport; the Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foun-
dation has development projects in Hargeysa as well as food assistance programs. Somaliland has reportedly allowed UAE military aircraft participating in the Saudi-led Operation Decisive Storm campaign against the Huthi insurgents in Yemen to use Berbera airport for refuelling and emergency landing.
Daallo Airlines (D3, Djibouti) and Jubba Airways (Kenya) (3J, Nairobi Jomo Kenyatta) will on Thursday, February 19, announce the formation of the African Airways Alliance, a merged entity owned equally by founders of the two carriers.
The two airlines will continue to use their respective Jubba and Daallo brands after the merger, Jubba Chairman Said Qailie told Reuters, but will pool their fleets to include two leased A321-100s operated by Air Méditerranée (ML, Lourdes/Tarbes), one Jubba Airways (Kenya) B737-300 and an Aviostart (VSR, Sofia) BAe 146-200. In addition, two newAvions de Transport Régional (Toulouse Blagnac) turboprops will be acquired by the middle of the year for use on domestic Somali flights. Jubba Airways has already phased out its B737-200Adv. fleet and will replace its last remaining B737-400 5Y-BZL (msn 24550) by the A321-100 F-GYAN (msn 535) it has just taken delivery of.
“We are trying to attract other carriers to join the alliance to scale the business, to help growth and sustainability,” said Mohamed Yassin, the CEO of Djibouti-based carrier Daallo, said.

I didn't come here for bashings just to talk about the reality
My point was not about whether SL can sign a deal with flydubai or not, it's about the legality of these deals
100 percent it's a deal between SL and flydubai and the SFG has nothing to do with it but you need to wait until flydubai gets the approval from the SFG.....is not that clear?
This is the agreement that allowes their airplanes to operate in somalia
http://somalimode.com/?p=11688
Pro-waqooyi/dir website states this coming after the aviation agreement with the SFG...notice in the UAE sources it says vice-president of somalia to avoid problems they do the same with puntland and one of them has made a thread about it in wich i explained to him that arabs don't accept independent entities but in the SL sources they would change it to SL!
I'm out!

Sahal you are the weakest link, your a brain dead delusional fella using unknown websites and missing links to prove a point

Re: Mogadishu blocks bebera investment
The delusional is you who thinks himself an independent country!
Is not this thread whining about SFG cancelling donor conference for berbera port? The same way SFG can stop this flydubai agreement!
Arabs will NEVER EVER treat somaliland as independent country! This will be against jaamacada carabta!
Despite baghdad being Shia they r against kurdistan!
As I said before in the other thread you can have more chances with dubai companies than French and african companies....Why? Bc the UAE has big influence in somalia.....it's responsible for the somali security in jaamacada carabta therefore the SFG will not be against her....you know how they destroyed Djibouti-gulf security cooperation....bin Ladin company cancelling al nuur city project(horn africa-arabia bridge).....they can fund the other political parties such as ala sheekh....
The same way SL supported gulf cooperation against the houths to the point of warancade saying "we r part of jaamacada carabta and we suport their decisions!" Though it was Hassan sheekh who allowed it in that conference! Simply SL cannot say NO for financial reasons!
But let us come to the poor coutries such as yemen where SFG has once cancelled fishery agreements reached with some regional states not sure if SL was part of it but it doesn't make different!
Come to the professional westren miliues like the donor conferences!

Re: Mogadishu blocks bebera investment
Under the new agreement, UAE-owned airlines would start flying to Somalia after more than two decades of war in Somalia.

We already know that the airspace of Somalia is under the authority of the SFG....that should be the end of this discussion.

Re: Mogadishu blocks bebera investment
Airspace is guarded by a national airforce. Somalia's "airspace", just like it's land and maritime borders is non-existent. Just ask Ethiopia, Kenya and Iran.
