Exactly he has completely misunderstood what is an ideolofical conflict in the Southern region of the country between Al Shabab and the Federal Government. That is the only conflict there is, sporadic skirmishes between nomads over waterwells is not war, nor does it signify hatred of any kind. It merely shows that some resources (water) are scarce in the region.

Lastly, perhaps you have misunderstood the nature of this thread. Oromos inhabit the largest, most fertile, most populous region in Ethiopia. They are located centrally between all the regions. They have numerous other resources in their region. They number 35 million +. Yet they are ruled by Tigray, a small ethnic group who live at the north Western edge of the country in a dry region populated by no more than 5 million. The Oromo politcal leaders are imprisoned and persecuted by the country's Tigray leadership. All we are saying is thag they should claim what is rightfully theirs, instead of coming to Somalia/Somaliland, which although it has welcomed them, cannot take any more Oromos.

This is reasonable and I don't see any ethical issues with it at all. I don't think any rational person would have any issue with a country securing its borders from foreigners even if it is a particular kind of foreigner. Though you should be consistent and treat all foreigners the same as in reality you have a much higher demographic threat posed by Arab and Southern refugees than the negligible number of Oromos that migrate to your country every year.

That is a completely different thing then saying we need to deport all Oromos, especially those who have been living there for more than 1 generation. Do you see where I am coming from now?

Bear in mind that Hargeisa is the 2nd largest urban area in the region, after Addis Ababa. This is a real draw for many Oromo people, especially those hoping to travel onwards to the Arabian peninsula. Mogadishu is the other large city, but since it's 1,500KM+ away they are unlikely to go there.

The Yemeni population is probably less than the Oromo population. But they are two very different demograpics with different potential risks and benefits.

Whether an immigrant is 1st generation or 2nd makes little difference to me personally, the Somali land has to be secured for the somali people.

Somaliland Immigration Office in Wajaale claimed that they have deported captured and deported 7 thousand Ethiopians during the year 2014. knowing the capacity of Somaliland immigration department I am sure atleast an other 7 thousand sneaked into the country in that same year. and there is tens of of thousands already living in the country. Thats a lot. If ask them visas from this year I am it will decrease the number of Ethiopians getting into the country and we will have legal justification to deport them back to their country simply because they are illegal immigrants. that's not racism, and not against human rights because there is no war or natural disaster in Ethiopia currently and there are no UN funded camps in country.

Zoomalis can't see the big picture and only focus on parochial tribalism.

We face a demographic dilemma in the Somali peninsula with an excess Bantu population. Since we can't kill them off for humanitarian reasons the next best thing to do is to flood the country with other Cushites like Oromos to make the total percentage of Bantus go down and the percentage of Cushites go up.
