Serene- Everyone goes through things in life, we ALL face hardships and sometimes we struggle to deal with them.

you are just fine and normal person. that means you are an intelligent person who thinks before you just practise it. let me share with you a little of my experience, I came from well known not only religious family but also lecture people about religion, whatever that means. I memorized quran 3 months before my 10th birthday. my degree in bachelor is quran and fiqh and my masters is hadeeth and fiqh.

for very long time, I rejected most of hadeeths and many of interpretation of quran(what they were teaching us in university) except sunat al3amaliya/3ibadat. I thought more I learn what I have an issue with. will makes sense to me. I was wrong. more I learned from so different sources(I went to get from north African scholars, they are malikiya and that was my chosen madhab).

long story short, I always discussed my confusion openly with those older than I am and more exposed to both traditional islam and modern scholars. in the majalis, I always bring the issues and they all express and I was surprised how they all say same things with different ways and approach. I kept open minded and learn from even average joe. I enjoyed every bit but still wasn't satisfied.

I just straight search God without hebel imam said or sahabi hebel said. ooh boy! I made hobby to look in sky when every one sleep and say;
if you ever there and as powerful and merciful as I think you are, you gain nothing to confuse me then burn me in another life! if you there please guide me. I wont give up on you but I have legit issues, I want you to address it Almighty !

just simple as that and more sincere than I can ever say it here or write it. once I found Him, everything was easy and made more sense than I thought (at least most of things that to do with aqeedah).

my advice, do not bother about Islamic history, it's worse place to start in this stage. I can even say forget about islam, go straight searching God and do not feel guilty about it. God doesn't need another angels, He already created them never disobey. God wants some one to learn Him and appreciate him what He has done for us. إِنّ الله لذو فَضلٍ على النّاس ولكِنّ أكثَرَ النّاسِ لا يشكُرون

Good luck to you with you journey, believe me you will come out just fine and loads of inner peace that people wish to have it. also give what you can to people you do not know, volunteer, be useful to others... all those will make you humble and sincere. those are the keys to find the truth, sincerity and humbleness.

The only people who seemed to put effort to help me is BeyondQabil and hyper. Beyond Qabil instantly offer audio. and hyper and me have an arrangement

I can't take you or anyone else seriously what so ever. If you guys seriously want to help me. Find me audio on youtube where I can review Islamic history that way I can ask hyperactive a lot more questions.

That's what I want from you guys.

If only it were that straightforward... you basically want other people to do all the work/digging for you. But they have no interest or motivation to do so because you beliefs/religion ultimately is between you and God. The sources I am keep looking at were not enough and I don't even know if they are reliable. There is so much internet out there and I have focus issues.

I am utilizing this forum and people sort this out. If anyone here uses youtube for learning islam. I am sure there are muslims here that use audios and videos . Wouldn't something in memory trigger you to pull something useful? and post it here.

Wayeel, yes I was and still love address God in away is personal. God is very generous and blessing to me in so many ways that He never denied me whatever I asked. I feel like spoil kid.

I feel inner peace and do my 3ibaadah out of love and not afraid of hell fire. My main thing is to love God more every day. Alhamdullilah.

call me crazy or whatever but people find God their own way that works for them. I always advice people to do their own journey. cause if you do by the book or what people say, wont hit you as hits you when you do the walk. I loved every bit of my "Aha moments".
