We are not there yet.
What I want see, desperately I might add, is if and when the parliament passes the ban, how the government responds. Because they control the airports (In the south) that the khat is imported through.

Laa, you are delusional. The only one who have the gut to ban khat is alshabaab.
Somali economic relies heavily on Khat. The vast majority of Somalis back home are khat zombie addicts. Government are all khat addicts. Banning khat will create more chaos all over the country and this is something they can never afford to do avoid it.

No, the Ethiopian and Kenyan economies rely on Khat.
Khat is breaking the back of the Somali economy; it sucks billions of USD from the Somali economy and it is about time that ends

ive seen it in ethiopia, with no dental care, their teeth is destroyed!! how some one sees what it does to oral health and still chew it!!
it's normal people missing teeth in really young age from chewing.
