The brother from Sudan as one of the eldest stateman from Somaliland I apologise for some of my country men. Who have fallen very short of what we regard as respecting once guest.
We from, what was formerly known as northern Somalia, and currently as Somaliland, a Muslim African country. We hope to have good relations with our northern Sudanese brothers. However, you must respect and understand that those from southern Somali are very similar to your southern Sudanese, but minus the oil. Hence why we want to cut all ties with them. For this reason we would like Sudanese people to understand the idea of one Somali or one policy for all Somali is a huge error. I'm sure you wouldn't want to share a toilet with people who have more in common with gorillas than humans. The same with us..
wait so you say other indiduals are "xenophobic, bigoted, backward" yet you call south somalis gorillas, :-O

Abdelrahman,

Sorry Sudanese bro but looks like you have no idea what a middle-income means.

The Sudanese GDP per capita is less than $1,800 and less than $100 ahead of Djibouti.

It is a failed state that failed to keep its unity and many other ongoing secession issues.

Al Bashar no longer controls Darfur either.

The few buildings were put together by Qatar.

I am aware of Sudan.

I am not a fan because they enslaved and kept many Africans in cages beyond animal treatment. Bashar is criminal and just because we share religion and some cultures doesn't mean I will turn blind eye.

Keep dreaming bruh :stylin:
Man south Sudan is going to be little Somali colony economically. we will convince them to close all their pipelines to port Sudan and that's the end of north and south Sudanese business interaction. We control most of their other sectors today.

nigga let me tell you this, the age of when south sudan oil was important are over... sudan surpassed that stage long time ago. besides, south sudanese don't have any real economy to speak about other than agriculture and south sudan listening to somaliland is like america listening to Bangladesh :lol:

Nigga wallahi I don't understand how your brain operates whatsoever

where do you get your figures from?

IMF figures from October 2015

Sudan vs Djibouti

Nominal GDP for 2016

Sudan = $85.22 billion
Djibouti = $ 1.93 billion

Nominal per capita for 2016

Sudan= $2,647
Djibouti= $2,574

PPP GDP for 2016

Sudan= $176 billion
Djibouti= $3.35 billion

PPP per capita for 2016

Sudan= $4450
Djibouti= $3373

So yeah, Sudan is much greater then Djibouti.

Sudan has the 7th largest economy in Africa, if we are failed then what is the rest of the continent lol? Russia , Ethiopia , India , Germany and even nearly UK in 2014 gave away some of their land.

We left the south because of its conflict and liability to the economy. you cannot compare Sudan to Eritrea or Ethiopia, we are full of Eritrean refugees and Ethiopian civil workers looking for jobs in Sudan.

Sudan is ranked by the world Bank as a middle income country, so tell me nigga, do you know what middle income means? from the level of your IQ I doubt it lmao

oh Btw Ethiopia per capita

$769 and eritrea $689 lmao poor countries that the east wants to join?

and nigga , we control Darfur so come up with another lie :)

It's a shame Sudan got divided and the South was given to Museveni as a present.

If the thread opener is from Sudan...i would like to ask why the Northerners never converted the southerners? Seems like it could've easily been done through dawah or even force....

This topic is about our sudanese brothers and the relationship between cushitic brothers of Somalia and Sudan..

Sudan was and will be alway a friend of Somali people.. thousends of Somali studends get a free education in different e universities in Sudan.. Sudan is also view country who maintained their embassy presense in Muqdisho even the worst days of the civil war in Somalia.. Sudan is our brothers and we see sudanese people and somali people one and same...

There are Beja people living in Sudan who might be related to Cushitic speakers. I don't know what their percentage of the population is but they are are a significant minority.
