Your father maybe doesn't know about it , but there is what is called magan in Somali . It is a NOBLE concept of offering protection . In a civilized country the Law takes care of that , in an nomadic setting the man {or men} of noble descent take up that role . You're only proving that you're neither civilized or noble .

Adal (Ifat included)/Ajuran sultanate (Including Mogadishu Sultanate,it's predecessor) are the only two interesting Somali sultanates that actually contributed something to the world and for the Somali peninsula.
The rest are irrelevant, think beyond your kinship and look at your ethnic group contribution to society as a whole, nationally and internationally.
Dervish were interesting (Germans/Ottoman supported them).
