Dhaga, in lagugu celiyo meshad ka timii as a women isn' t the worst thing that can happen. That' s why i'll never understand why there is such a stigma towards divorced women in our society.
Samtr...of course you can complain about your wife if she is clearly in the wrong. You just need more balls to step up if she is distantly related to you somehow and go to her family. It' s very rare ina laga ceshan waayo anba la la hadli waayo
Kambuli...walahi it' s all about preference. I have nothing but respect for somali men in general. Whatever qabiil he might be but I see that our men( gadabuursi's) have everything that I look for in a man so I really don' t see the point of why I should go elsewhere.

How interesting! Lady_Qac, I await some informative insight into gudabiirsi world so I can advance to their level and land eventually a gudabiirsi beauty for me. I actually know beautiful girl from Borame, my God! her beauty is matchless to any I have seen

Besides, your decision isn't bad if you find comfort in it. It is your justification that is a little unjust to other somali guys I think.

Gamadiid... first of all I don' t believe that gadabursi men are any better than any somali man whatever his qabiil might be. So there is no need for you to advance to any level. My preference is mine alone and I don' t represent gadabuursi females in general so If you have found a decent girl from us I see no reason why you shouldn' t go for it if you are serious and ready to settle down

. We are not known not to discriminate against other somali tribes. Again you never know how things will turn out maybe I'll change my mind and i might throw my preferences out of the window. Allahu acalam

I think Lady Qac , has a good point , there is nothing wrong with marrying ur own tribe, in fact its the best, in order for a marriage to succesed. Couples that are from the same back ground socially and politically has a better chance and less feud.
Now the fashion these days is "to follow ur heart to the gutter" a lame liberal empty rhetoric, an urban cliche ,but reality bites. Ask any Somali woman who was married to another tribe during the height of the civil war and u will be realistic, she had to cook for her husbands clan who were planning to wage war on her father and brothers. Woman in inter tribal marriage are forced to make choices between her brothers, fathers, clan, land and her children in the other hand.. very nasty choice.
I remember this old Habar Jeclo geezer who was married to a Habar Gidir quacking woman, the poor guy was forced to relegate his hero Siiraanyo pics to the Kitchen , her big Cayiid picture was hanged on the middle of the siting room , .
Hey somalinet,, the proper way of saying Siiraanyo, with L isn't realted to pussyy by any meance, i was forced to say Siiraanyo, because the Sii-l-aanyo is censored.
