What AShlee is saying is true.

However, Siyaad first came to the Sacad in 1982 and asked them to help him solve the SSDF problem by massacring the Majeerten. A wise old Sacad elder told the Marexan envoy, "I always thought Siyaad was a wise man.... But what kind of man says "Kill, rob, rape your your mother, cousins, in-laws (Majeerten)."

The Sacad provided the Majeerten shelter in the SSDF war. In 1988-89, Siyaad offered them the same deal. The Majeerten took it and massacred the Sacad for no reason except out of spite.

What Siyaad did not know was the Sacad like the Yahuud don't quit but get even.

It was the beginning of the end of Siyaad's regime. In 18 months, the Siyaad government collapsed thanks to the MONEY & POLITiCAL MUSCLE of the Sacad.

The Coalition of the Hawiyes was brought together.

But know this: You Majeerten are the ONEs who overthrew Siyaad Barre. 1991 was payback for 1969, the Failed Coup of 1978, and Operation Karbaash Majeerten.

Xoogsade's Father was right when he argued with Siyaad AGAINST accepting the Majeerten back into the Dowlada Darood. He saw the KISS of death.

With the Majeerten back in the fold, the Siyaad government went ape sh&t on the Issaq & Hawiye and MArexan became the most hated Somali tribe.

This Hutu kid must be from a political family. He seems well informed and his anaylsis is usually acute.

Captain Faalso killed committed an atrocity against the Isaaq in Burco one day. The very next day Hundreds of young burcaawi males left the town to join the SNM. Some Isaaq elders came to him as Ergo to find his rationale for his massacre.

I guess time has told who was more evil. The government or the opposition.

No wonder Mxmd Siad Barre said something like: "After me there will be people, but not a country"

People always thought it was a conceited remark, but really it was a remark of a person who knew the nature of the opposition.

I know this gurl who's reer abti are isaaq and her father reer mahad. Her mother tells her the MJ's killed her but her father was a high ranking Mj in Siyad barres regime. He was killed by the idoor and she still think the Mj's killed her pops. LOOOL. Maybe this is the guy? Laughing
