Japan has drop box for unwanted babies...Somalis Welcome
Somalis can send off kids to Japan...just go visit Japan and leave someone behind. Japan had difficult encouraging immigration, so they now come up with an idea that you can come to them and leave yours behind;

TOKYO - A Japanese hospital opened the country's only anonymous drop box for unwanted infants Thursday despite government admonitions against abandoning babies.
The baby drop-off, called "Crane's Cradle," was opened by the Catholic-run Jikei Hospital in the southern city of Kumamoto as a way to discourage abortions and the abandonment of infants in unsafe public places. The hospital described it as a parent's last resort.

Mike,
This is not a way to talk with your first person who helped you from dealing with Ninxon when you where just little Italian-boy around the corner. Remember?

Of course it was me that help out your come about at SomaliNet....not entirely of course, but at the time it was harsh and suspicious here, of any non-Somali here (exception of Mad-Mac)...were seen as hostile.
We have had many discussions on US elections at the time;...and many other political discussions between me, you, Arabman, Nuradiin, Mad Mac, LadyHorn, and many others that now I can't recall. Asia, Mohamed and JB were the moderators.

Great memories, jr. I was lucky enough to come along at the sunset of Snet's glory days. Those election discussions were intense, as were the post 9/11 debates.
I also vividly remember your easing my transition here. It WAS quite hostile, a LOT moreso than now. I sometimes re read the archives for fun.

Japan has chosen PRADA and poodles over Parenting. They have a large elderly population with very few young to support the aging population.
They're in a lil trouble

Gosh, Mike. My aunt flips thru photo albums of her heyday in Somalia, and it makes me sad in the same way reading that did.

Don't be so sure dear, the photo might not capture all of you, and you might not be able to fully appreciate the effect on ALL your looks.
