During the last a few months in Mogadishu, Ethiopian forces aided by American war ships and planes were committing atrocities far more brutal than Somali a has ever experienced in its 18 years of conflict.

The result was a humanitarian disaster far more severe than that of Darfur or Iraq.

Somali civilians were slaughtered indiscriminately and we Somalis in the Diaspora did very little.

We can not blame the world for not intervening, however, we can blame ourselves for not been able to help our people, when they needed us the most.

In summary if you don’t’ help yourself then who would. For all those who feel they are the stakeholders for somalia and its people, it is time you stood up and be accountable, before it is too late.

As Hope4All we would like to invite anybody or anyone, whether you are old, young, mother, father to come down to White City Community Centre on Friday 25th May @ 7.30pm-9pm and take part in prograssive debate and discusion to help our people.

somalia has been asleeeeeeeeeeeeeeep for 17yrs and stil i cant see any hope. As somalis we dnt even like each other!!

its nice u wanna do somting..... but this is the same ting thats happening back there........ a conference after another conference after another

this might be a small confrence..but it can be the foundations of somethings big...you dont undestand its greed and lack of undestanding thats got us were we are now..

atleast this confrence will open a few minds on what is happenin back home!!
