who wants to help me with my french homework?
i am going to post what i think is right Confused and you can all correct me, grammar ect.! please please

L’élection

Le président de la République a trés pourvoir. Il est le chef des armeée ,et il nomme premier ministre et son gouvernement. C’est lui qui signe les lois votées. D’après la constitution, le président est élu au suffrage universel, c’est-à-dire par tous les francais. Il électe un maintenante élu pour 5 ans. Les élection ont lieu le dimanche.

En 2007, des élections présidentielle vont avoir lieu en france. Le premier tour de scrutin aura lieu le 22 avril et le second est dans 14 jours c’est-à-dire 6 mai. Les deux candidats qui auront ob- resultats au permie tour, participant le second tour. Le actuel ministre de l’intérieur, Nicolas Sarkozy, (fik) la plupart vote dans le premier tour avec plus de 30 pour cent, (af de afgivende)voix. La socialiste candidat, Ségolène royal, se classer deuxième avec environ 26 pour cent (of) viox

what does "ob-resultat" supposed to mean? what 's the OB

umm this sentence is correct as it is 99%..i find it unbelievable that you don't understand Confused

Okay I think I got it.
Le president de la republique a de larges pouvoirs. Il est chef des Armees, il nomme le premier ministre ainsi que le gouvernement *{1}.
C'est aussi lui qui signe les lois votees. D'apres la Constitution le president est elu au suffrage universel direct*{2} c'est a dire par tous les francais. It est par ailleurs elu pour un mandat de 5 ans, les elections ayant toujours lieu un dimanche .
En 2007 la France se prepare pour ses prochaines elections presidentielles . Le premier tour du scrutin aura lieu le 22 avril et le second prevu deux semaines apres c'est a dire le 6 mai.
Les deux candidats qui auront obtenus les meilleurs resultats au premier tour vont emerger pour s'affronter au second.
L'actuel ministre de l'interieur Nicolas Sarkozy ,candidat de droite, a beneficie au premier tour de plus de 30% des voix et va ainsi donc se retrouver face a la candidate socialiste Segolene Royal qui elle a vu s'accorder 26 % des voix de gauche .
Qui d"entre les deux sera elu president?

{1} I"m not sure about that , I think the president appoints the prime minister who in turn nominates the cabinet members.
{2} there's Suffrage Universel Indirect{ like in the United States}
and there's Suffrage Universel Direct { like in France}

Since the French food and culture is associated with with love and things in that nature, I thought that was a Shukaanse thread. I was gonna try to pickup one or two sentences for Shukaansi......
