Somali Marriage Procedure...

Would you give your wali details to a potential spouse who may request it through a friend etc or allow your family to find a potential spouse for you?

Does the Somali Marriage procedure reflect the Islamic way which is no talking even by mobile to the potential spouse unless your maharam is there? (In my observations it doesn't and I definitely ain't going down that road!)

Would you get married after meeting your potential spouse once and just asking each other questions to get to know each other whilst your maharam is present.
