Shanshi are Reer Xamar, those light-skinned folks who lived in Xamarweyn, who are nearly extinct now.

The city of Mogadishu belonged to them before Hawiye invaded four hundred years ago, then they became a minority, and then inexistent.

You are right about Xamar, it'll take too long to fix it and how are we sure that Hawiye won't destroy it again?

The cad cads are the most decent and civilized somalis in the land, but you have to admit that it would be a stretch for them to be awarded Xamar. They just don't have the guns, in addition to representaion in parlament. Your also right about them being on the verge of extinction. Infact, I think like 95% of them went to Yemen, and were given passports.
