I traveled to syria with my cousin a while back.
I was using my australian passport while he was on his somali passport.

Now get this,

i had to get a visa to visit syria, while my cousin didnt.

and in immgration the officer was giving me dissaproving looks and took a long time to check my passport while they barely looked at my cousins.


they only lightened up when i started speaking in arabic.



this shows how nationalist Syria is.
In any other arab country they would have kissed my ass for having a western passport
and shit on me if i had a somali one.

in Syria it is the opposite.
