Why Somalis suck (honestly).

Somali people really suck. Now, don't get all riled up and start cursing me out in colorful language but hear me out.
Somalis constantly fight about their tribal heritage like it is a good thing to do. I understand in the past, when all of Africa was brainwashed by their colonizers to hate each other ( a little divide and conquer). But why the hell is it still going on to this day? But the annoying thing is not that Somalis are tribal oriented, it's that Somalis lie about it ALL THE TIME. They say they are for unity then turn around and stab someone else in the back because of their tribe. It boogles my mind.

Next, Somalis move to a new country and are so stuck on preserving their ways, but they don't realize that they can never reclaim the true heritage and culture of pre-war Somalia in a
new country, it's historically impossible. They are so stuck on not assimilating that they do not push their kids towards the only thing that matters in the West, an education. They are more likely to be worried about what Sahra is wearing then what she got on her SATs.

Next, what is it with Somali youth who get into a bad life style? They talk a good game about respecting their families and their tribes, but really, dealing drugs after your family has sacrificed so much to bring you here is the biggest slap in the face to your family.

Next, religion! Somalis are not as intent on practicing it as they are to prove that someone else is not practicing the right way. Worry about yourself first and the rest shall follow.

higher lamagodley pm all your stories why, why, why, why somalis to my uncle Bagamundo, he romantices somalis 40 years ago. damn 80% were nomads and didn't disturb him. solution is disarm them, buy them camels, build them wells and send them back to the desert. you will never civilise majority of lamagodleys.

I don't know what you're talking about, Somali parents like other immigrants are known to push their kids into higher education. The only problem is they have to deal with MTV culture and a new and enticing environment, for their childrens influence. It's the assimilation that causes the problems and Somali parents are loosing the war.


And making sure what "sahra is wearing" is a good way of making sure she gets good marks on her SAT's. I would venture to say that the reason Somali girls do better overal in the west than they're male counterparts is due to more pressure parents put on girls than boys.
