Re: HEADING TO BORAAME
So you'll be going from Djibouti to Saylac to Boorame
Cool , take a good look at Saylac it needs renovation as it is a historic place , if I had a lot of monet I'd invest in it wallahi. You'll be traveling through my favourite area of that part of SL :the giriyaad {the desert right after Saylac on your way south}.
Boorame is a nice place , you'll love it insha Allah

Re: HEADING TO BORAAME
That's good wallahi , and whomever planned this is
The best way to discover your motherland is to tavel by road, the journey is a little long { depending on who is driving and if it's a personal vehicule or not } might take you all night and reach to Boorame the next day{ around noon}, or spend the night somewhere in the middle and get there late in the afternoon .
You'll get to see the vast distance people used to cross on foot and the harshness of the environment. Once you reach the mountains you'll immediatly sense the difference in temperature . I remember this kids { distant cousins} coming to Hargeysa from Djibouti for their summer vacations riding with us . Right after Geerisa the desert proper ends there and the climate changes. So this kid used to Djibouti's hot temperature sitting on top of our pick up LC goes:
" Waraa, xaaaax , " climatiseur"{ Air Conditioning in French}ayaaba ka socda halkan ee"
And his SL native cousin to respond :" Haa dee , waa iska climatiseur rabbaani ah"
Good memories man !

Re: HEADING TO BORAAME
If you are going to stay for a couple of weeks, you should travel around, from borame to gabiley, arabsiyo, hargeisa, dhagaxbuur, mandheera jail and to berbera. And all the way to sheekh and burco and even longer if you have time, but at least visit hargeysa and berbera.
Better to move around, insted of just staying in one place.
