If you ever thought of joining the US Army, well think again, because you can't say sh!t and you're not suppose to question anything. Basically you would have tow the official line as a lapdog throughout your entire service.

Sgt. Buswell wants to know: What really happened on 9/11? And he said so in his e-mail. In the few paragraphs of that August 2006 message — a reply not to someone outside the service, but to other soldiers — Buswell wrote that he thought the official report of what happened that day at the Pentagon, and in the Pennsylvania crash of United Airlines Flight 93, was full of errors and unanswered questions
“Who really benefited from what happened that day?” he asked rhetorically. Not “Arabs,” but “the Military Industrial Complex,” Buswell concluded. “We must demand a new, independent investigation.”
For voicing those opinions in an e-mail to 38 people on the San Antonio Army base, Buswell was stripped of his security clearance, fired from his job, demoted, and ordered to undergo a mental health exam.

Now I can understand the demotion part, but sending him to a phyciotrist is way out of line, imo.

So true, so true
I know the military can restrict the speech of service members, but absent an order to refrain from discussing a topic, how is one to know what can and can't be spoken of, I mean, is there a some sort of manual? maybe MAD MAC can explain this?

There is more to this than meets the eye here. But clearly, when you are a member of the government, and without HARD FACTS to support an assertion such as the government you are a member of is conducting mass murder of its own citizens..............yeah, you are on shaky ground. That does not mean we have to be blind sychophants. I have questioned a number of operations I participated in. We talk amongst each other and we have differing opinions and that's not an issue. For postulating that something doesn't make sense on 9/11 (And he's completely wrong.........there is no way this was anything other than what it was purported to be) he would not get demoted, but if he postulates that it doesn't make sense, and that the president of the United States (who is his boss) was engaging in conspiracy to commit mass murder...............yeah, he's crossed the line.
