They aren't a tribe, they're a different ETHNIC group, they're closer to Somali and Afar not Xabesh like Amxara and Tigrinya.

They are 45 million out of 75 million Ethiopians, they are clearly the majority. 85% are Muslim, 10% are Pagan (Jinni Jinni), and 5% are Christian.
