Is Dalmar a somali name?

How come? Dalmar is a real Somali name..Usually a boy is given when his parents are relocated to a new towns/places etc When his mom is pregnant with him or when he is very young...It means he visited many places...

Dalmar is abviously a Somali name but it sounds very similar to the Spanish/french name Delmar or Del-mar. I think this is what ur talking about Ugaas.

That kid must be somali.......I saw him in some Canadian show called Degrassi: Next Generation and it said that his name is Dalmar AbuZeid.........

I think the Northern Sudanese use this name........probably borrowed it from the Somalis.

I have no idea dude. I'm not a fan of the show but my little niece who was a fan showed her to me. I know they change their cast their cast every year, only afew big characters stay but u'll probably find her if u search the net

I only saw one episode of that show few nights ago and what caught my attention was that kids name. I am finding out everyday that names I have always thought were Somali in origin, are not.
