first of all,let me say very clear that this has nothing to do with islams view of women and mare are equal. but the western!
they say that now a days women and man are considered equal but in many ways i feel that women don't get the same respect as man do and it seems to me that this "equal" thing is never going to happen! ..do you think we achieved the "equal" between women and man?

-there are more men bosses than women...here in Denmark
-men earn much more than women for equal work..here in Denmark

I have a friend who ebraced islam recently. He is only 20 and he has 5 kids from 5 differently girl friends(All before he became muslim).
At the age of twenty he already created five different single mothers.All struggling to bring up kids.
Women are small minded. Exploit them to the max and always remind them how lucky they are to be born free in the west.

Equality is impossible. Hatta two men or two women cannot be equal. equitability is the word which gives justice.

Men and women both have their strengths and weakness and neither can live without the other so that makes us equal.

As for western society no matter how much the say we're equal there isn't much support. As mentioned b4 women r seen as objects that r used 2 sell things. It also seems that the way western women try to get equality is thru picking up male characteristics and dressing like them too. Or worse sell themselves as objects to be exploited. So it shows they r more backwards then they accuse us f being.

men and women will never be equal both physically and culturally!! thats just me. and personally i don't want to be equal as long as i get fair treatment thats all that matters to me.

the funniest thing. my dad and i were watching tv. the other night, we were watching TLC's "mind ur manners" i don't know if u know or not, but like 1 lady in the show was tom-boyish and she was being taught to be a lady and all of the sudden she got mad cuz the lady told her to shift her legs to the right a little because it was "lady-like" and instead of doing it she got all pissed talking about 'why do i have to do that? N my dad started to get pissed. he's like how could she get mad, i mean God made her a woman, why does she want to compare to a man? it's just impossible!!!! (it was funny)
