The Common Somali Ideology

This is about the most common Somali ideology shared by majority of Somalis from the banks of the Tana River in Garissa to the shores of Djibouti:

1. Ethiopia is the enemy of the Somali.
2. All Somalis will be united in one nation or federation someday.
3. The occupation of Somali soil must be resisted be it in NFD, Western Somalia, and Somalia, proper.

The few who disagree with this common ideology are crooks and criminals.

Oh, what about Somaliland or Djibouti ? The majority of the Somali public there are opposed the Ethiopian actions against Somalis.

Ethiopia doesn't have to be our enemy forever.

We can pimp them and they can renovate our ports, albeit they pay a hefty sum. ESPECIALLY with the US giving them blank checks ala Israel iyo Egypt.

You can bring big bucks.... hell we can pimp Uganda too Laughing

Ethiopia is not our enemy, atleast not as much as we are our own enemy. They (Ethiopia) are just taking advantage of our foolishness as people and country.

Waging a violent campaign in the Ogaden will only cause the people living there more misery. It will never help you achieve your objective.

Djibouti and Somaliland are functioning governments run by Somalis. Do you wish to fock them up like you have the rest of the country in order to have all Somalis under focked up governance instead of just some???? Ditto the NFD.

Just leave well enough alone.

The last two I agree

The Ogaden though.. why not? If these guys are gonna go and take town by town, they should do it. Meles and the Ethiopian Army are tied up in Somalia and we all know Meles is getting weaker by the day on his strip on power. The people in the Ogaden already live in misery and fear from the Ethiopian military.

Simply put, the Ogaden fighters literally have nothing to lose and everything to gain.

The Ogaden fighters have nothing to lose, but the people of the Ogaden do. The ONLF is not going to take over town by town. In fact, they are not going to hold any ground at all. They can't. The Ethiopian Army is WAY to powerful for them to consider going toe to toe. The resource drain that is Somalia is a drop in the bucket as long as the US under-writes the costs of food, fuel and ammo.

So while the ONLF has nothing to lose, the people of the region certainly do. It is ALWAYS the civilian population that suffers most in an insurgency.

You have a point, but the ONLF has already aligned itself with other rebel groups in Ethiopia.

These guys will keep fighting, it'll be interesting when the Tigray are out of power..

Hawiye and Isaaq won't play your little Somaliweyn game, your like Kurds scattered, you need us to form a government so you can survive. With Xabashi support or not, you had your time as leaders, now move on and forget about Isaaq and Hawiye.

Then why are u crying about Ethiopia conquering us. Either you have national aspiration and unity. Or u become a weak and divided: and easy prey for your enemies.

It is either Stop Cuqdad Daarood or be Ethiopia's bitches forever. What is your choice?

My clan is not the one going down in Somali history as the clan that brought Ethiopians into Somalia, you can twist words as much as you like but at the end of the day you know the truth.

Samatr he has a point..........why don't Isaaq politicians play the role of unifier.

I mean leadership SHOULD go to the people who would fight to maintain unity.

That would be like Abraham Lincoln giving the Presidency of the United States to the Confederate/Secessionist leader.

There is no pretending here. Somalis are filled with hate and distrust to form a legit gov't, therefore, Ethiopia is now doing a good job pimping them thanks to few hoes. You on the other hand, have a disease called Darood, were you speak of them as they are God's gift to Somalis, so hawada iga bax, there is no reasoning with you.

Gedoboy

Isaaqs got fukked over last time Somalia was supposedly united, how can you deal with the same people who wish death upon you, its not logical.
We Isaaqs killed each other and got over it, we are not any more special than any other Somalis, I believe rest of the Somali clans can work their shit out on their own if we did it.

Darood IS like the Kurds, but much more politically advanced. Imagine the Kurds being the natural rulers of Iraq and have even more respect for us after you see you can't. Laughing Laughing
