This is a rebuttal topic to Sir-Luggoyo's idiotic and ill-thought out topic saying Somalia is a wasteland that he refuses to reply to.

Today, figure 7 Somalia (without Djibouti, Ogadenia, NFD) is the 49th largest country in the world, one of the least dense nations in the world, and home to the longest contiguous coastline in Africa. With lush green forests, a mislabeled savanna oasis referred to as the desert North, uranium and mineral deposits throughout, and one of the most robust and diverse livestock markets in the world.

And that's just figure 7 Somalia, consisting only of British and Italian Somaliland.

Occupied by more world superpowers at a given time in history than arguably any other nation of its time. Occupied by FRANCE, BRITAIN, ITALY, ETHIOPIA, and KENYA! So many different nationalities lost blood to keep the jewel called Somalia.

Greater Somalia would be one of the 30 largest countries in the world, the largest in Africa. Most numerous and valuable natural resources in Africa -- farmland in the South, including the lucrative NFD, great oil deposits in Ogadenia, and uranium throughout the land. And an even longer coastline, if that gets your motors running.

So, when people like Luggoyo say that Somali men were cowards who could not find a greater patch of land to die for -- I say they could not die for a better piece of land anywhere in Africa, anywhere in the world.
