Somalia NGO: 4 Workers Arrested By Somali, Ethiopian Troops

MOGADISHU, Somalia (AP)--A non-governmental organization in Somalia's capital, Mogadishu, said Tuesday that four members of its staff, including the country director for Somalia, had been arrested by Somali and Ethiopian troops this week.

Tony Burns, director of Saacid, said the troops accused the group of being an "al-Qaida terrorist organization."

Saacid, which is registered in Australia and Somalia, was established in 1990 and has 153 Somali staff and two international workers. Somali government spokesman Abdi Haji Gobdon
