SANFORD -- A 32-year-old Deltona woman was convicted today of two counts of raping a 5-year-old boy.

Kelly Lumadue told jurors that her husband was a pornographer and made her perform the acts while he videotaped them.

That's how she got caught. A garbage collector in Volusia County took home some videotapes he found at the curb, and after he played them at home, turned them over to authorities.

The crimes happened in 1996 at the Longwood-area home Lumadue shared with her husband, Leonard. He died of cancer in 2003. The tapes were discovered a few months later.

Jurors this week watched two videotapes, showing the acts. They deliberated less than an hour before returning their verdict this afternoon.

Lumadue is to be sentenced July 27.

Assistant State Attorney Anna Valentini said the judge has only one sentencing option -- life in prison with no parole.

Lumadue confessed shortly after the tapes were discovered, telling a Seminole County deputy that her husband was a pornographer, and these were just some of the tapes she made with him.

Defense attorneys argued that Lumadue's husband abused her.
