When people said Africans eat monkeys I thought it was a lie wallahi. Damn I was watching PBS last night only to see west and central african adoons eating chimps and gorillas. Not only that but they also eat wild rats and wild dogs.

didnt u know that when i went on vacation to Germany a couple years back i went with my cousin to his friend from Zaire's house....so we went started talking and then he asked if we wanted something to eat.. so we were like sure....5mins later he comes back with a monkey hand on a plate...i have never been so shocked and scared and disgusted in my entire life...i ran out of the crib and threw up all over the place..couldnt eat for like 2days straight

Yes, many people in Central Africa eat monkeys, I read somewhere that a group of scientists in Europe traced the Ebola virus to infected monkeys that were later consumed by people.

Wallahi I had no idea they ate monkeys. I did read about the pygmys eating monkeys but that is a small minority group in the congo. Never knew that monkey eating was so common in that part of Africa until this documentary.

That is some focked up reasoning wallahi. WOuld you eat monkeys if you were in their situation? It is not like they cant grow anything in them jungles they live in. Besides how about trying something like cattle? It has more meat than monkeys and on top of that, it produces milk and butter.
