This fat, little midget is trying to hard to become Puntland's dictator. After alienating most clans and subclans in Puntland, the fact that he's actively seeking to empower his Cusmaan Maxamuud and elevate their status has become painfully visible to anyone.

Not only does he pocket laaluush money from business deals and shares what's left with his cronies and Cusmaan Maxamuud kinsmen. He challenges Cumar Maxamuud, who had the sea business on lockdown, by trying to replace Somcan with Al-Khayr and make their own quick buck. This whole business concept of protecting and licensing foreign fishing companies came from Cumar Maxamuud businessmen, Ina Yeey gave them the green light. No need to be jealous and try to eliminate us from the business. We know how Xiif (the one who started all this) has humiliated that fool General Yuusuf Axmedkheyr in Boosaaso.

Fat boy Muuse demonstrated his inability to function as the president of Puntland, by forcefully reinstating his Cusmaan Maxamuud kinsman Khadar as the mayor of Boosaaso, after the local Boosaaso council got rid of this corrupt and rotten individual through democratic means. Fat boy says his actions were motivated by countering the Asmara opposition group who have got a grip in Boosaaso's local council. Lol, what a wild story he came up with. So all those Ariboowe local council gentlemen are liars and corrupt, and Khadar is an angel victimized by the Asmara group?

He only has 5 months to go, but he tells people that he has a lot more years left. He made up his own laws and started to believe in it. He has told the shacab that he'll reorganize the Puntland army? For what and why? He has never been interested in the Puntland Darawish, he never bothered to pay their salaries on time or anything. People believe that he's trying to challenge the Cumar Maxamuud military dominance in Puntland, and not to enhance the effectiveness of the Puntland darawish unfortunately.


Puntland has been limited to Bari and Nugaal these days. Sanaag, Sool and Mudug are forgotten regions in Puntland. They have to pay taxes, but get nothing in return.


It's time for a CHANGE in Puntland. If the parliament doesn't do its job, they will be punished accordingly. No monthly payments through Amal Express from qurbaha for these useless MPs. We will make them suffer, by depriving them of their money to buy Jaad.

You're right about that Unclebin. Ina Yeey is dealing with Xamar (and Kismaayo soon hopefully), he shouldn't be bothered with this right now.

But the fatazz is destabilizing Puntland damn, he's trying to prepare himself for a monster position during the elections. He plans to take the presidency by force, because he's got zero chance of winning the next elections soon.

Khadar Haji Mire maintains he is the mayor of Bossaso
BOSSASO, Somalia June 18 (Garowe Online) - Residents in the northern Somali port city of Bossaso were angered Monday when news broke that the city mayor accused of corruption and voted out showed up at the mayor's office backed more than 50 militiamen and two armed vehicles.

Khadar Haji Mire was the mayor of Bossaso and chairman of the 27-member District Council until yesterday, when he lost a vote of confidence within the DC.

Council Vice Chairman Mohamed Said "Hito", Mire's deputy, told local press that 19 of the 21 Councilors present at the Sunday meeting voted to remove Mire from the post of mayor while the remaining two abstained.

Charges levied against the former mayor by fellow Councilors include dfinancial mismanagement, abuse of power and an attempt to sell off public land to private bidders.

Mire still claims that he is the elected mayor of Bossaso, backed by guns and clan fighters. His calls for support were joined later Sunday by two political heavyweights: Puntland President Adde Muse and Local Government and Regional Development Minister Ali Abdi Awaare.

The two high-ranking officials issued a statement dismissing Sunday's vote of confidence whereby Mire lost his position.

According to the Muse-Awaare letter, the vote of confidence was "illegal" since former mayor Mire was not present during the vote, nor was any official from the Ministry of Local Government who normally oversee such legal procedures.

Talk in Bossaso centered mainly on President Muse's intervention, with locals wondering about the president's motivation for intervening of behalf of the deposed mayor.

"They [District Council] followed democratic procedure and he [Khadar Haji Mire] brought militias to support him," said one Bossaso resident.

Mire was elected in 2005 when the Adde Muse administration established clan-based District Councils in major Puntland cities as part of a democratization program.

Bossaso is Puntland's most populous city and a bustling port hub along the Gulf of Aden.
