(SomaliNet) The presence of the Ethiopian forces in Somalia will lead the country to take the road of Afghanistan and Iraq, Abdi Abdulle Saed ‘Jini-Boqor’ one of the strong worded members of parliament said on Friday criticizing the policies of the transitional federal government.
Speaking to the local media today, Mr. Abdulle said that the Ethiopian forces had entered Somalia illegally. “Even the man who brought the forces is now unpleasant with their presence and how things are happening,”
He underlined that it is needed to withdraw the Ethiopian troops from the country.
Mr. Abdulle is among the Somali lawmakers that are strongly opposed to the policies of the Somalia president Abdulahi Yusuf Ahmed and his premier Ali Gedi.
“if the coming reconciliation conference is wanted to be successful it would be better to make it resolve the conflict among the rival Somalia political groups struggling for power and that is the only way that Somalis can reach sustainable peace,” said Abdule.
He said Somalia is taking the same road of Iraq and Afghanistan until the Ethiopians remain in the country advising the government officials to lead the country with better leadership.
He described the remarks by the former defense minister Bare Hirale in which he accused president Yusuf and Premier Ali Gedi of being behind the recent attempt on his life as unwanted.
Mr. Abdulle said it was not something expected from Barre who is responsible to say such abusive words to high profile officials and it is incredible for president Yusuf to mastermind such terror attack.
