emotional literacy

Post by zulaika »

u know the ability to say the right words to garner the right attention or rather to generate the right recation. i won't claim to be an expert in this field....my grade in this area is fairly intermediate, i do wish to improve on it though.

that said, i must say i am in no way near as bad as guys are with emotional literacy..specially faraxs.. goodness i mean how difficult is it to express how ya'll feel without having to resort to some poorly delivered innuendos..geez louis.

so i say farax definitely need a serious training in emotional literacy Laughing

showing emotions is no longer attractive or considered brave anymore, women killed it. any farah that gets all emo will likely be beheaded in order to save the rest of farah mankind. we will live and die by the "kill one to warn a hundred" code.

Its simple Zulaika. If we say it in Somali, it comes out weird and awkward. If we say it in English, then makes us look/sound sissy. And under no circumstances a faarax should come across a sissy. We'll still take the training behind closed doors tho.

I once did a test for emotional intelligence, actually it was a mandatory quiz by our management class prof.

"Emotional Intelligence Quotient or EQ, describes an ability, capacity, or skill to perceive, assess, and manage the emotions of one's self, of others, and of groups." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Emotional_intelligence
