lol mizzy, i feel you, my parents would honestly say 'HELL NAW' and i understand to a certain extent, its said that 'we should marry are own ppl, ppl closest to us'..why? because in the long run it would save alot of problems, picture this, if you was to marry a 'midqan' and u were to have children in the future, your children would honestly get terrorised by certain ppl, why put your children through that?..not just that, it's alot of other issues that come into the picture, and there's no way in hell i would marry someone without my parents blessings

My parents would never ever in thier whole life let me marry anyone who doesn't pray 5 times a day (sunnah would be even better), doesn't fast during ramadan (extra's would be even better), doesn't pay zakat (extra's would be khair insha allah), doesn't respect HIS parent's ..
