Koronto, I say lack of education and written recordings is to blame.

For instance, the historical phase of India began with the enlightened and highly educated Muslim conquerors who were India's first historians.

Who said it was neglected? The Biyamaal history is written down and their place in Somali history will never be forgotten.

Cilmiile, yes, Dhulbahante has sacrified blood to resist against the colonials, but they were not the only one and hence why I think that many are forgotten.

The Degoodiya who were warriors that fought against the colonialists. The Galti Mareexaan from Nugaal who went all the way to Jubbaland to protect and safeguard it.. The Reer Xassan who guarded the Mudug borders from the advancing Ethiopian army.

Bimaal were concentrated in Banadir and the Shabellas. They never set foot inside Jubbaland.
