Eight young men abducted by the Ethiopian military

Ogaden Online - Reports reaching Ogaden Online service desk from the city of Dhagax Buur confirm the abduction of eight young men from the town of Riiga Galadiid by the Ethiopian military. Riiga Galadiid is part of the Shaygoosh district. The abducted men were traveling on foot from Riiga Galadiid to Dhagax Buur due to the vehicular traffic blockage on all Ogaden cities, towns and hamlets.

The abduction of these eight young men took place on July 20th. There has been no information on the whereabouts of the abducted men for three days. However our reporter in Dhagax Buur confirmed this morning the death of one of the men in the hands of the Ethiopian military. The deceased is said to be AXMEDNUUR DHICIS XAASHI.

Due to the ongoing Ethiopian military blockage on all of Ogaden, it is reported that there is widespread hunger and utter poverty in many parts of Ogaden.
