AGAINST ARABMAN

Arabman: I've been here for a long long while. Just curious about Somalia. But what I saw since you were here it's a man full of hate against all the West and a guy trying to spread the poison of hate in the name of Islam.

Wrong there, Arabman.

If you want to win hearts and souls from Western people, you have to forget all this brainwashing on muslim people and saying what is right and what is wrong for a good muslim. Allah is guiding our hearts, not you, Osama Bin Laden or the Pope in Vatican. Everyone knows how to behabe right or how to behave wrong. But people like Adolf Hitler, George Bush, Ratzinger Z or a sheikh in some Mosque or Bin Laden can't give orders "in the name of Allah" or "in the name of God" to bring pain, chaos and disaster against civilians. Against citizens. Against human beings. Pure, simple human beings.

If you think that the whole Western World is supporting the day-to-day tragedies happening in Irak, you're completly wrong. Day after day there are big demonstrations against that useless, brutal, cruel war in Irak. Nobody here (in Europe) 'hates' Arabs or muslims because they're Arabs or muslims.

I won't deny that there are some institutions which are trying to manipulate people by doing this: The USA Administration, some Western mass media (FOX TV, etc).

But it's not the average behaviour.

And same thing for the muslim world: I've never met a muslim, a single muslim, who hated an Italian, a French, a Spaniard, a Portuguese just for the mere fact the he or she was Spanish or Rumanian.

As a Somali friend told me a long while ago: "We are all human beings, whatever if we're muslims, christians, jews or atheists".

You're not doing a good spreading hate against West or any other country just by the excuse that USA has invaded Iraq.

We all know that USA invaded Irak because of the oil. Because George Bush is a fanatic ex alcoholic who wants to win a familiar war. Nothing else. Because Saddam Hussein "wanted to kill" his daddy.

George Bush, and we all know that, is nothing but a new kind of Adolf Hitler: he controls the mass media, he corrupts the politics, he perverts the information.

But, Arabman, he's not different than you. You also are perverting information, you're trying to manipulate the news, you're asking muslims if they are "secular muslims", which means, in your particular language, that they're traitors to Islam, and you're asking if they are 'true muslims', meaning that if they could be terrorists at a given time.

Don't get wrong here. I have a lot of muslim friends, and they're good, really good people. And even I could have been a muslim myself if I didn't felt the pain of being rejected from a muslim family for being non-muslim born, which I find really stupid: you can't chose what family you belong to, you can't chose what country or religion you belong to.

But what I see here, Arabman, is that you're trying to spread hate, hate, hate and war. Hate against anything which doesn't belong to your political Islam. It's not Islam what we are talking about here. It's your political Islam.

It's not a reading of Al Koran what we're talking here. It's your political reading, your political manipulation and your political rules: If a muslim is "secular" (as you stated not long ago), he's not a muslim, he's a traitor to Islam. If a girl doesn't wer hijab, she's not a muslim, she's hoe. Islam, which means 'Peace', suddenly becomes 'Nazism': If someone does something out of my own rules, he's perverting the rules.

Wrong here, there, and everywhere, Arabman. Like Bush or Bin Laden. Like the shhit of "If you're not with me, you're against me". It doesn't work.

I would dare to tell you something: Read Al Kuran as I did: respectfully, paciently, tasting it, learning from it. And, instead spreading hate and war, pray to Allah for patience, education, wisdom, understanding.

Otherwise, I won't consider you as a muslim, but as another fanatic, as this christian pope, who is trying to bring here enemies, another crusade, and who wants to impose the 'Holy Inquisition' against anyone who has a different opinion about the way all human beings live.

I ran into a quote somewhere. It was by a sheik. I regret to say I don't remember his name, but what he said struck me as a true thing.

He said, "Terrorism is to religion what adultery is to marriage."

Haven't been able to get it out of my mind since. Think it may be worth thinking even more about.

Grant,

Well said! Terrorism is the result of human desparity and is not the result of any one religion. For some its easier to blow yourself up then to commit to productive ways to bring about change.

["Terrorism is to religion what adultery is to marriage."]

That's a personal opinion; it's not an Islamic teaching, fatwa, etc.

Kamal

Good post. I also saw that the Stones did indeed do a private gig in Barcelona last week. A high end affair for some big shots.

A Man

Where did you find that, and how did you figure it was him?

So any one who gives opinions that you don't like is poisoning the forum with anti-western ideas?
Far worse self criticisms are written in every day western news papers.

What Arabman writes is harmless talk, Kamal.Leave the brother alone. You cause more harm to the west by trying to supress free speech in this forum.

I may disagree with Arabman his way of putting words but i agree with him most of the times. every one knows who's terroris but some chose to call terrorist every one who's a muslim and wants to protect their land and wealth from invaders .

[Where did you find that, and how did you figure it was him?]

Don't I work for a secret service agency?

[I may disagree with Arabman his way of putting words but i agree with him most of the times.]

I don't sugarcoat how I put words; I am not here to appease non-Muslims.

I agree with Arabman's foreign policy and his stand on the Western world sometimes. Although, he maybe a bit too on the extreme side for me, I think he is a good Muslim and represents his religion very well.
