This country should not be kidnapped for foreign State Interests. Revoke the Ethiopean Electricity isuue & Annul Total status.
Ethiopean investement at Somaliland in the current
prevailing political status of the horn , do not
compromise with the National security interests of
Somaliland. The National integrity of this country is
being tattered through foreign states interest in
strategic but uncompromisable issues of National
identity buffering.
a similar issue is the strategic Petroleum issue ,
handed over, to Total Company , whose status in the
country does not conform with the National
Constitution!!. At this stage of reconstructing our
state infrastructures, its improper to mix-up National
strategic issues with obscure personal or political
issues that do not interpret our National interest.
True, mutual and good neighbourly respect prevail
between Somaliland and Ethiopia, when we physically
see the closure of Harta-sheikh Markets , the Torching
of Somaliland public Transport at ethiopean soil where
no single criminal had been handedover by ethiopia to
Somaliland in respect of the security pact between the
two nations,but that does not mean to compromise our
National interest on unnecessary and unthinkable
projects as the so called Ethiopean Electricity supply
to Somaliland!!. Are we innert of technology,
engineers or the potentiality of importing the
required machinery to enhance our own electricity, run
by our own nationals?.
If those siminar oriented , clan nominated officials
at unfortunately policy making positions refrain from
jeolousy and seek the advice of elite National
Scholars , the country would have been well-off by
now.
Total Company is a foreign venture, benefiting from
the Somaliland wealth. It is here for profit. What is
the compeling reason to hand this strategic National
issue to a foreign company, when our own Nationals are
well excelling it in all aspects, other than the
Commissions and shares roasted for some immoral
officials?
Is it a crime if we substitute Total with our National
Petroleum Agency, which should generate millions of
Dollars to the Government Burse and extend National
Gas stations to every town and city Nation wide ,
where thousands would have been employed. What we see
here is a Nation for sale that shall not happen. With
this article, may l call all pure elite Somalilanders
from every sector of the community be it here in-land
or overseas to intervene strongly in putting the ship
back on coarse, it's adrift!!.
On this same article, Iam calling on my sisters , the
somaliland women to refrain from adopting the
socialist
doomed policies of free allocations of unearned seats
in the Government chain of leadership in the Name of
women, but to come-up with proper competitive cadres
through the political parties. Remember , we are
devoted to imprint in the minds and hearts of the
World community , our dedications to form a modern
state that had never before, appeared in the Continent
Africa, in terms of transparency , objectivity , plans
and social services as well as quality leadership.
We should not imitate other doomed states and follow
their ill-fated policies, therefore , those calling
for free seats in Municipality and Parliament for the
Minorities are fishing on this same old dead-sea as
well. Minorities are among the communities,
giving-away free seats jeopordizes the sellectivity of
good quality leadership. We need to be lead by those
capable to lead on sound knowledge and not budging to
clans hegomony.
Somalilanders should accept challenges, that benefit
the Population and the Nation in General and should do
away with the current benign
idiopathetic,self-centered
policy makers whose whole interests sit on selling
National pride, properties and racketeering!! We are
at loss of sixteen years and we should not lose more
than that if we are talking sense. In conclusion, this
country require-not, the interminglement of Obscure
Foreign states interests and the strategic National
issues. It's just like playing with fire. SNM
Officials in particular are here by acknowledged to
follow-up what's happening at home nowadays very
