WASHINGTON - Chief Justice John Roberts was taken to a hospital in Maine on Monday after a fall, Supreme Court spokeswoman Kathy Arberg said.

Roberts has a summer home in Port Clyde, Maine. The spokeswoman said the chief justice, 52, was taken to the hospital as a precaution.

She said she did not know how he fell or what injuries he might have suffered.

Watching CNN live....they are using the word "as a precaution" taken to the hospital, as a precaution.

Not much reported yet.

Now they are reporting he's "conscious and alert" .....nothing more.

i hope he dies.

Chief Justice John Roberts suffered a seizure at his summer home in Maine on Monday, causing a fall that resulted in minor scrapes, Supreme Court spokeswoman Kathy Arberg said.

He will remain in a hospital in Maine overnight.

Roberts, 52, was taken by ambulance to the Penobscot Bay Medical Center, where he underwent a "thorough neurological evaluation, which revealed no cause for concern," Arberg said in a statement.

Roberts had a similar episode in 1993, she said.

For the last time am going to dislike every Somali who espouses that someone outside of their religion is not good person or their religion is not affiliated either theirs.

when he comes out of hospital...im sure he'll give u a blue peter badge for leting us know about his condition. so just sit tight.

hey, as much as anyone don't like his decisions in court, or as much as you or and I don't like him any of his decisions..... I hope he pulls through.
