What Eritrea is doing is divert attention away from their conflict with Ethiopia using Somalia as proxy war at the Horn. So long as Ethiopia is boggled down with Somalia’s conflict, Eritrea would be save from cross-border attack from Ethiopia.

The two sisterly countries have collaborated in a strategic alliance to fight terror bases that thrive in anarchy and mayhem like in Somalia. What national interest? Or do you mean the interests of Zenawi & Biijo? What terror? Where is any evidence there was any terrorist activities anywhere in Somalia? How did America & Ethiopia help Somalia? What has the Mbagathi theocracy done since their conception in Mbagathi that even resembles a functioning government?
