Somalis can't swim, is like saying Michael Jordan can't play ball.

It doesn't add up, the best swimmers that I have ever had contact with were Somalis, especially back in the day. From stories, many Somalis were saved from drowning in the Indian Ocean when the Civil War occurred because of the fantastic swimmers. Of course some were misfortunate.

MJ-Pride, my grandma last went swimming in 1943, her uncle's leg was bitten off by a shark. Never swam again and neither did her community. That legend was passed down through the years and many Somalis still fear sharks, even in puddles. Trust me, I've met tons who are that way.

Swimming is fcking easy.3 years old can do it. What do you have to do is just move your legs and hands so you can float. Is that too hard? if you ain't athletic, you might get tired and thats when you go down...
