So maaha, I won't lie to you, four years ago before my grandma moved in to our house I was a lost American kid. When my dad asks me my qabiil I used to Darood then hawiye. Hal Soomali maanan aqoon. Now look at me, it is as if I was born in Caabudwaaq not only the language but the culture too.

a couple of years ago ayeeyo was talking to me about qabil and all that jazz

my spoken somali has improved since although I'm far from perfect, i just really want to become 100% with the writing/reading and mastering it all inshallah....
