LOOOOOOOOOOL falafel, malawax and sambusa are my responsiblity every year at my house during Ramadan. I like my falafel spicy though.

We mostly mix Arab, Indian dishes with our Somali ones. Other than Sambusa, there is the honey glazed buur, suuqar, the coconut made with curry and beans dipping sauces for the sambusa. Hilib Ari shiilan, Upside down pineapple cake, there is this rice cooked with shredded beef and yogurt dish, the mushakal drinks, the cut up fruit and yogurt parfait. I think half of what I wrote is not Somali. But we create different dishes because they get bored eating the samething over and over again.
