I can’t tell. Is her name Somalian?

She doesn't look like a somali although somalis have people of mixed blood, Arabs with Africans who look like her.

So what do Somalis look like if they are african only with no Arab blood?

Our history is not clear and there are parallel competing theories with regards to our Origin. What you hear or read about us depends on who you talk to.

I favour the African distinct identity such as that defining Nubians, Berbers, And East African Ethnicities. We have relations with Arabs, Strong cultural ties in more ways than one but blood connection have yet to be proven.

And as I said, you will see some somalis defining us of Arab descent.

I only know of two groups of people who make such a big deal out of hair texture.

1) Black woman
2) Black people in general.

Guess what. My roommate is Somali and even though she does have a nice grade of hair but its not the long silky stuff you guys want to pretend you have. Guess what I see on her side of the bathroom every morning. A big bottle of Pink hair lotion! The same stuff I use and I have a much better grade of hair than she does.

The fact that yawl constantly like to bring up hair texture shows how truly black you are culture wise even though yawl don't want to admit.

This woman is Somali. If someone told me they were both Somali I would believe them.

Razberry where did you get the notion that "Nappy-Hair" is bad and "Soft-Silky Hair" is good, no one brouight it except you. Maybe ur the one sufferin from inferior complexes. plus I do not deny the women being somali, she could very much possibly be---but she does not possess the somali looks that 90% of my people do, I can pick somali person out out of a crowd. It's something that I am used to, for example look at my avatar and compare her to fantasia from American Idol. The difference you see is the logic I am using to tell my people and others apart.

She Is not somali we can tell if someone is somali or not.

Ayaan might be butt ugly, some say that's the reason why she hate allah but anyways she does have our features, sure it might not be attractive never the less she's sporting it.
