The Majority of Baardheere are Raxanweein. In the pre-civil war, It was a town whose residents were mainly from an assortment of different clans from all over regions of Somalia, but more importantly, the town is principally settled by Rahanweein.

My uncles lived there and had intergenerational assets that still remains in their hands. Baardheere was the marketplace for many years between Somalia and Kenya.

I have no idea. I think "Bar" means something like a wet spot and dhere means long I guesss. Anyway, Koronto its very simple. The West banks of the river belong to SADE, and the East side of the banks are settled by our Awliayhan cousins, whom reer Gedood basically considered as Marehan considering we have the exact same culture, and the Rahanwein live on the east side of the river. Theres really no debate. Rahanwein did settle in Sarinley which is near Bardhere, however a lot of them tried to take advantage of SADE when we were at war with Caydid and sided with him. They were driven out of the whole region altogether.

Bardhere was a multicultural city, but was predominately Sade. Bardhere was a big marketplace, and a place people used to come to learn deen, and to trade.

Again, Bardhere used to be a big multicultural city, with a lot of history. Unfortunately, with Somalia the way it was the past few years, cities that were once cosmopolitan and diverse, became homogeneous (Xamar, Hargeisa, Kismayo, Bardhere etc.) as clans strengthened their gribs on cites according to their muscle.

The more people, and the more populated the better
