Seriously the man missed on like five Republican debates and talks crazy. He is more known for his acting career than his time in the senate. Is it not too late to announce he is in the race for presidency? Does he have enough time to raise money for his campign.

I think it was strategic choice on his part to join the race this late. I think many Republican conservatives are looking to him as the real conservative among the Republican candidates. Already conservatives are comparing him to Ronald Reagan. I think the Iowa primary will indicate if he stand a chance.
