United in which way?

If they are united in reconciliation and building Somali, that's great. But if they're united for military reasons, I'll take a pass.

The only time I want to hear the word "united" is if all Somalis are involved.

But I suppose this is for diplomatic/military causes.

I voted Little or no Impact. United Hawiye wouldn't hurt a fly. This isn't back in 1990 when they inherited the whole Somali Arsenal. This time,Daroods are ready and United Hawiye wouldn't be a problem. Having said that, United Hawiye is like asking Bush and bin Laden to unite Laughing

Abgaal will no longer be swayed by unity raised on false alarms. We know the Mooryaan Habargidir and their long-term destruction on our land and people.

Why must the ultimate focus be placed in the hands of the Hawiye alone? what makes the Somali problem an issue only a united Hawiye can solve. The only true peaceful impact on Somalia will be when all Somalis regardless of clan are willing to be united. There is nothing a united Hawiye can do to have a positive impact on Somalia. The only thing I can think of is they might only end their inter-clan conflicts.

United Hawiye also means Peacefull Somalia since they are the source of savageness and solving things at gun point. Darod generally are good people. If Hawiye can unite, It would be easy to unite rest of Somalia

What is to do with well-trained terrorists operating inside Somalia? This is a big issue to deal with before we move to solving the inter-clan conflicts of Hawiye. First, International terrorists have to be purged of the entire peninsula of Somalia. Then we can have a semblance of law and order.
